Honors and Recognition

Colin (a.k.a., Cotjo), my friend over at Life, honored Hawk’s Place with two new awards recently. The first is called BE THE BLOG award and the second was personallyl created and designed by Colin himself, which he has titled Best Blogging Buddies For Global Communities.

Mark at Me And My Drum, who created this wonderful new blogging badge, Be The Blog, describes it as “This badge is for bloggers who make their blog their own, stay with it, interact with their readers, and have fun!”

*

The second award which Colin created himself is best described in his own words.

“Having received many awards I have decided that it was time I created one for ALL my Blogging Buddies. You are ALL awesome and contribute to the wonderful global communities that we have all created. Thank you )

Thank you Colin for these tremendous awards!

The Beautiful Blog Design Award was presented to me on October 19, 2007, by the splendorous and notoriously evil anitbarbie over at Anti Barbie.net. This award was designed by her own hand and it is gorgeous on this black background. She says, “She loves the sleek, dark design of my blog.” Well what can I say, but “Thank You!” I’m just wondering if she was drinking vodka and fishing when she decided to honor me with this beautiful award! I will graciously pass-it-along to other worthy bloggers within the short-term.

All I do is chuckle and laugh every time I visit her site. She is direct, snappy, and a little edgy, but that is good. I love women with an edge that know how to laugh. She’s good people and you absolutely must go check out her ABC’s of Me! post.

The BLOGGING That hits the mark! award was passed-on to me on October 22, 2007, by the lovely and exceptionally talented poet and writer Erina Hart at Into The Inkpot. It was awarded to her by Mike at Ordinary Folk and Eric, who is also known as Speedcat.

Thank you Erina for the award. I must be doing something right somewhere. Now, I have to break out the last few Havanas I have and open up a few mason jars! Champagne is not much to my liking, tho I hear some people rather fancy this stuff made in France over corn liquor.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit any of these sites, I would encourage you when you have some extra time.

The “You Make Me Smile Award” was presented to me by my friend Erina Hart. Why I make her smile is beyond me, but I’m thankful I do tickle her on some level. You can find her nestled away in her manor house Into The Inkspot. I’m certainly glad to know that I tickle someone Erina! For the award all I can say is, “Domo arigato gozaimasu!”

This award was presented to Erina by Rolando at R. Playground. It was designed by Bridgett of Miles To Go Before We Sleep.

For some unexplainable reason, she found it compelling to present me with yet a second award. And, I say, “Hot diggity!” Two awards in one day. Unbelievable! This is better than hunting when your out in the woods and you manage to drop two squirrels with one shot! That’s good shootin’, but some folk might call it serendipity! Thank you Erina for thinking I’m Fabulous!

This fabulously ‘Totally Fabulous” award was passed on to Erina from a blogger buddy of her’s named Bobby. It was initially designed by Mike at Ordinary Folk and originally offered by Christy at Totally Fabulous.

If you take-off and soar over to visit with Erina at her manor house Into The Inkspot, you jus’ might find her “dining on danish and sipping sour-apple cider.” All I can say is you don’t know what your missing!

Thank you Erina!
